What Is direct-access Paramedicine?
Private medicine is shifting toward mobile, direct-access care built around the patient-provider relationship. direct-access Paramedicine (daP™) brings that model to the paramedic — no longer do you have to call 9-1-1 to see your paramedic.
Accessible 24/7, EMERGILITY® paramedics and advanced providers respond to homes, workplaces, and other private locations across Northern Virginia. We collaborate with client-patients, physician practices, and public 9-1-1 EMS to enhance access to care and avoid unnecessary emergency department visits — complementing, never competing with, existing medical services.
Care is delivered in place when clinically appropriate. When a patient needs a hospital, transport is never delayed.
