EMERGILITY® occupies a unique position in the Northern Virginia first responder landscape: we are both a licensed first response agency and an organization whose work is built in direct service to the first responder community.
As a Virginia OEMS-licensed Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Agency (Agency Code 50537) and a DCJS-licensed Private Security Services Business, EMERGILITY® operates alongside law enforcement, fire, and EMS in an augmenting role — providing Tactical Emergency Medical Support, private non-transport EMS, and Advanced Life Support capability where it's needed most. We don't replace the public safety system. We extend it, protect it, and fill the gaps that traditional emergency services cannot.
At the same time, we recognize that first responders aren't just colleagues — they're clients. The men and women who hold the line for everyone else deserve access to care and support built specifically for them. That's why Responder Care™, our charitable Special Program, exists. It's why our training programs serve both new and experienced public safety professionals. And it's why, when a first responder or their family member needs help, EMERGILITY® answers with the same urgency they bring to every call.

Two Ways We Serve
EMERGILITY® as a First Response Agency
EMERGILITY® functions as a private, non-transport Emergency EMS Agency providing private, emergency and protective medical support in environments where traditional 9-1-1 services are augmented by — or integrated with — private capability.
This includes Tactical Emergency Medical Support (TEMS) for law enforcement and protective security operations, ALS/BLS first response at private events and high-risk environments, and embedded EMS support for protective details and executive security teams.
We work within and alongside the public safety apparatus, under OEMS licensing, and with full medical oversight.
EMERGILITY® Supporting First Responders
First responders and their families face challenges that the traditional healthcare and support system often isn't equipped to address — off-duty medical needs, shift-work barriers to care, occupational health concerns, and gaps in coverage at critical moments. EMERGILITY® addresses these gaps directly through Responder Care™.
Responder Care™ provides free EMS & MIH-CP to first responders and their families throughout Northern Virginia — at home, off-duty, and in the moments when they need discreet, high-quality care and can't or shouldn't call 9-1-1.
Lastly, EMERGILITY® Training builds clinical and tactical competency for public safety and protective security personnel at every level.

Built for the People Who Don't Stop
Most healthcare and support systems are built around normal schedules, normal risk profiles, and normal patients. First Responders aren't normal patients. They work nights, weekends, and holidays. They suppress their own symptoms because they can't afford to be off the line. They absorb trauma on behalf of their community, often without a system equipped to recognize or address it. They face occupational exposures — physical, psychological, chemical — that the general public never will.
EMERGILITY® was built with this reality in mind. Every element of our service model — the on-demand paramedicine, the embedded protective security, the MIH-CP infrastructure, the Responder Care™ program — is designed to meet first responders where they are, on their schedule, without adding to their administrative burden. Our clinical staff and protective agents are drawn from the first responder community. We understand the culture, the shift structure, the reluctance to ask for help, and the pride that sometimes gets in the way of self-care.
