Mr. Barone has been protecting people, populations, and organizations for over 20 years. He has provided specialized, technical, and subject matter expertise across multiple domains and sectors with an emphasis on security, protection, and medicine. Mr. Barone has responded to countless public 9-1-1 emergencies and has deployed with specialty medical teams and private clients to natural disasters, deliberate attacks, disease outbreaks, and national special security events.
In 2015 Mr. Barone founded Emergility, LLC (DBA EMERGILITY™), a consultancy focused on the health, safety, and security of public and private clients. In 2019, Mr. Barone envisioned and executed the expansion of EMERGILITY™ into a licensed Private Security Service Business, and by 2020 he added a private Emergency Medical Services Agency.
With the aim of securing and protecting personal, private, and public clients and patients, Mr. Barone combined Protective Security Services (PSS) & Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to create PSS-EMS. In 2021, Mr. Barone combined aspects of concierge, preventive, emergency, and tactical medicine with PSS-EMS to facilitate the emergence of Protective Medicine™. Building off the EMS Agency, Mr. Barone then added a Mobile Integrated Healthcare - Community Paramedicine (CP) capability.
Currently, Mr. Barone is leading the development and expansion of EMERGILITY™ as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & Protective Agent - Paramedic. In addition to this endeavor, Mr. Barone is the Founder & Executive Director of Responder Care™, and an intermittent federal responder with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR). Mr. Barone is a member of InfraGard, the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC), and the CBRNResponder Network, a professional first-responder, and a Fairfax County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) volunteer.
Tony Barone is a Protective Paramedic Practitioner and CEO of Emergility, a security, protection, and emergency medical services company based in Alexandria, Virginia.
