As a service extension under our Protective Medicine™ practice, EMERGILITY™ offers a mobile urgent care capability providing access to unscheduled same/next-day urgent medical care (based in Northern Virginia).
Our clients and patients benefit from many of the same health and medical services they would find at a local urgent care center, all from the comfort of their home, office, or other location of convenience. Leveraging physician extension capabilities along with tele-medicine technology, our mobile urgent care capability is like no other.
Client and patient services and benefits include, but are not limited to:
Oftentimes the best care occurs right at home. We help individuals and families address urgent medical needs from the comfort and privacy of their home.
When it comes to business continuity, health matters. We help businesses and organizations maintain a healthy workforce by way of mobile urgent care services.
Our mobile urgent care services provide executives and protectees with private, secure, time-saving, and convenient care, without compromising security or protection.
We are transforming healthcare and medicine by making advanced and emergency medical professionals more accessible to clients and patients, as a complement and enhancement to existing healthcare, private medical, and public 9-1-1 based services.
What is physician extension, and who practices as a physician extender?
As part of our protective medicine + mobile urgent care services, participating members benefit from a wide variety of diagnostics at reduced rates.
We offer self-pay imaging options, testing for STD/STIs, strep A/B, influenza, pregnancy, COVID-19, drug screening, etc., at a fraction of competing health plans.
In some locations, public or private emergency medical services (EMS) agencies may provide patients with a mobile urgent care like capability by way of EMS resources. This practice is referred to as Mobile Integrated Healthcare-Community Paramedicine (MIH-CP).
For more on MIH-CP, visit:
In Virginia, the VA OEMS Division of Community Health & Technical Resources (CHaTR) is tasked with addressing Virginia-based MIH-CP, or CP-MIH as they call it.
EMERGILITY™ offers MIH-CP and cEMS for clients and patients, packaged, and delivered as its mobile urgent care capability enhanced by physician extension.
"The Healthcare and Public Health Sector protects all sectors... from hazards such as terrorism, infectious disease outbreaks, and natural disasters. Because the vast majority of the sector's assets are privately owned and operated, collaboration and information sharing between the public and private sectors is essential to increasing resilience of the nation's Healthcare and Public Health critical infrastructure... The Healthcare and Public Health Sector is highly dependent on fellow sectors for continuity of operations and service delivery, including... Emergency Services..." Source: DHS CISA
